NZLL (nzlimitedlicence.co.nz) prepares Limited Licence court document bundles for New Zealanders who need to keep driving through a demerit-point suspension or a court disqualification.
What we do
We draft the full bundle a District Court needs to consider a Limited Licence application: your Affidavit, the Application, the draft Order, the boundary map, and the supporting Employer Affidavit or Director's declaration - built from the facts of your actual situation, to the format and standard the court expects.
NZLL never appears in court on an applicant's behalf. We are a document-preparation service, not a law firm providing representation. We do not attend hearings for you, argue your case before a judge, or act as your advocate in the courtroom. If your matter requires an appearance, that is you personally (or a lawyer you choose to separately instruct).
This is a deliberate boundary, not a limitation we're apologetic about. It's precisely because we don't carry the overhead, scheduling constraints, and cost structure of courtroom representation that NZLL can prepare thorough, correctly formatted document bundles at a fraction of what a full-service law firm charges - and do it consistently for applicants anywhere in New Zealand and right across New Zealand's 58 District Courts, not just where a single firm happens to have lawyers on the ground.
Why that boundary works
Under the national Practice Note governing these applications, many unopposed, well-evidenced Limited Licence applications are dealt with by a judge in chambers, without a public hearing - and where a hearing is required, the strength of the case still comes down heavily to the quality and accuracy of the documents filed, not courtroom advocacy. A well-drafted affidavit that states the hardship test clearly, with facts that match precisely across every document, is what actually moves an application forward. That's the part NZLL specialises in, and does at scale.

Whether your situation is a demerit-point suspension from ordinary driving, or a court disqualification following an excess breath alcohol conviction, every application NZLL handles is treated with the same professionalism and privacy. We don't moralise, and we don't need to know more about your situation than what's legally relevant to your application.

Where something isn't written down anywhere official, we say so and tell you what we know from doing the work: New Zealand decides these applications in chambers, on the papers, and only a seriously bad driving history that Police oppose outright puts an applicant in front of a Judge.
